How these guides are written.
Last reviewed October 2026
Everything published here is meant to be useful before it is persuasive. These are the standards we hold our own writing to, stated plainly so they can be checked.
Who is accountable
Authorship of every guide is attributed to the practice, not to a named individual. That is a deliberate choice, and it is a real accountability: The Loan CA is answerable for what it publishes. Where a guide touches a factual claim, the claim belongs to the practice and can be raised with it directly.
What we rely on
Our guides draw on publicly available regulatory and consumer-awareness material, standard lender documentation and process, and the practical patterns that emerge from preparing borrowing properly. We do not publish client names, lender names or deal details, and no example is drawn from an identifiable case.
What we refuse to claim
We do not publish a single interest rate, because rates are set by each lender and vary by borrower and facility. We do not claim to arrange, sanction or guarantee a loan, and we do not imply any approval, endorsement or affiliation with the Reserve Bank of India or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. A guide that reads as a promise would be a guide we have written badly.
Reviews and correction
Guides carry the date they were last reviewed, and are revisited as practice and process change. If something here is wrong, incomplete or has aged badly, write to us and we will correct it and update the review date. A correction is not an embarrassment; an uncorrected error is.
Independence
We are not a lender, not a marketplace, and not paid to place a borrower with whichever lender moves fastest. Our interest is in the borrowing being right for the person doing it, and the guides are written to that end.
Where to take a question further
The guides answer specific questions about borrowing, and the loan pages cover each facility in depth. If a guide has not answered yours, or has answered it wrongly, write to contact@theloanca.in.
